Happy Two Thousand Nine! It’s looking to be an heady time: high political expectations, narco violence, a drying up of arts funding and countless other joys. What do we propose? More writing it down, more saying it out loud. More dancing. With that in mind:

This weekend Sonidero Verbobala returns with DJ Emtron to “La B,” our favorite bar in Coyoacán, Mexico City. If you’re around, don’t miss it! The Sonidero (our DJ / VJ project) now has its own MySpace. Be our friend?

Big news! Moisés has his US visa! And we’re making our California debut in a few weeks; the first time the three of us will be able to perform together in the United States! Please let your contacts in the Bay Area know that we’ll be bringing the verbo-video their way. The confirmed dates are listed at the end of this message, and we’ll be sending out another blast once we’re stateside.
